    02/12/2012

West Hamilton Beach VFD  Sunday, November 4, 2012... A great amount of Thanks is sent to Hooversville Fire Department of Pennsylvania for their great donation of a 1981 Mack CF pumper and various equipment.  This vehicle was of great need since all of our firefighting equipment was wiped out with the exception of hose and fittings.  This vehicle enables use to once again protect the neighborhood as we seem fit, with dedication and self sacrifice.

We continue to take donations since our specialized equipment has also been lost.  Such Vehicle extrication equipment, including the "Jaws of Life", spreader, cutter, rams and air bags.  We have also lost many meters for gas leaks, Carbon Monoxide and such which are the majority of our calls in the upcoming winter season.

WHBFD says Thank You Hooversville.  You guys are the Real Heros.
